About Author
Hanya Yanagihara is an American novelist, editor, and travel writer. Her novel A Little Life was shortlisted for the 2015 Booker Prize. She was born in California, has lived in Hawaii and Texas, and now lives in New York City. Yanagihara won the Kirkus Prize for her second novel, 2015’s A Little Life. She is a 1995 graduate of Smith College and settled in Manhattan, working as a publicist and then a travel writer.
