About Author

Hari Prasad Sharma earned his B.Sc. and MA in Economics from the University of Rajasthan. He served the Reserve Bank of India for a year from 1981 to 1982. He got selected for Rajasthan Police Service in 1982. While in police service, he got the opportunity to serve high offices and being a superintendent of important cases. He got promoted to Indian Police Service (IPS) in 2007. He served Jhunjhunu, Ajmer, Jodhpur City, Nagaur, Udaipur, Bikaner and Sriganganagar districts of Rajasthan as a Superintendent of Police. Getting promoted to the post of Deputy Inspector General of Police in 2015 and to Inspector General of Police in 2017, he got the opportunity to serve the Crime Branch of Rajasthan Police. After retirement, he served Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board as Chairman for three years.
